We specifically designed this shirt dress in the hopes of spreading some much-needed joy into our current, rather dark world. Is your inner child looking to break free? Create a magical moment by spreading love and happiness to those around you.
For our first edition, we partnered with the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas and Fashion Stars For A Cause who organizes social gatherings around an issue that is often whispered about. The organizer, Yvonne Crum and her team realized those who had chosen suicide all wanted one thing in common. Hope! And the greatest examples of hope are the young people who desire to be good stewards of their community. Crum realized the best way to involve the community in raising awareness and funds to provide hope was to select a dozen women annually to serve as fundraising ambassadors. These ambassadors, or Fashion Stars, work tirelessly to promote and sell raffle tickets for the annual Fashion Stars for a Cause signature event, which is a celebration of fashion and compassion. Since the beginning of Fashion Stars, more than $2 million has been raised for the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas in support of providing hope and saving lives. The Fashion Stars Gala black tie event will resume on April 6th, 2023 at the Dallas Country Club.
The LOVE Shirt Dress is an elegant and versatile piece of contemporary fashion for the modern woman who wears her heart on her sleeve (literally). The oversize shirt dress is made from 100% mid-weight cotton, with a classic fuse front placket, buttoning up the front and tying at the collar with a statement ribbon. Yabin embroiders his name on the cuff, a secret communication of affection between the wearer and the designer. Yabin’s attention to detail and passion for design is visible in every detail, not least his considerate inclusion of two side pockets for the wearers’ convenience.
The LOVE Shirt dress is the first ready to wear piece from Yabin’s brand new eponymous label, and available in four designs, in sizes Small through to Extra Large.
